The Rapture, the anti-Christ and Holy Spirit

In recent days it has come to my attention that some are looking for the anti-Christ to appear before the rapture of the saints of God.  I’m not smarter or greater than anyone, but God has shown me somethings that we need to know about the truth of God regarding the unfolding of prophecy in our day.  If we can look at a few scriptures I’d like to show you some truths from 2 Thessalonians 2 if you will permit me. Then you can make up your own minds about what is about to happen.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (KJV) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Notice in verse 1, the topic discussed is the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him.  This coming is the rapture of the saints, which means being caught up.  This gathering together is the saints being caught up.  Verse 2 talks about our troubled minds and our comfort. God wants us to know the truth for our comfort and peace of mind.  Most everyone knows about the falling away and the appearance of the man of sin – the anti-Christ in verse 3. Verse 4 names some of his characteristics that clearly make him out to be the anti-Christ. Right? In verse 6 there is something holding something back.  There are several possibilities for this something holding back.  What I believe is that the Holy Spirit is one holding back what is mentioned in verse 7 and 8.  Does the Holy Spirit reside in the believers of this age?  If so and believers are taken out in the rapture does it follow that the Holy Spirit will go with them?  The Holy Spirit is God, right?  That gives him great power and he is assigned the role of convicting and holding back sin in this world.  The very presence of believers is a check against sin in this world and without them or the Holy Spirit some very power sinful things will unfold. Does that make sense? If the Holy Spirit is removed at least in part at this time and the Holy Spirit goes out with the rapture, then verse 8 and 9 can not happen until after the rapture. That means that Wicked is revealed at this time in history.  I believe that Wicked is the anti-Christ would the Lord will destroy with the brightness of his coming at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Verse 9 clearly identifies this as the anti-Christ. Verse 10 tells us that whoever denies the truth of Jesus Christ will be deceived in verse 11 and will likely never come to know Jesus as their Savior and go to heaven.  Everyone should check their salvation and make sure we are saved.  No one should have to go to Hell, but I can’t make that decision for them. Only they can.

I hope this helps someone with the truth. I do not believe the anti-Christ will be revealed before the saint are taken out with the rapture of all believers of Jesus Christ.  I am a sinner before God and I need a Savior to save me from Hell and take me to Heaven.

Father God,
Thank you for saving my soul and the promise of Heaven. Help others to understand these verses. God bless everyone who reads this message and help them in their troubles, their service to God and their families. In Jesus Name. Amen.
