How Real IS God to YOU? Is God Real?

Is God real? How real is God to you? How do you know he is real? How do you know? Have you ever talked to him? Has God ever showed up in your life? If God showed up in your life, did you recognize him? We can get so busy in the life of ours, that when God is trying to talk to us, we can not see it.

If we look around us, we can see some of the evidence that God does exist. There is patterns in the way the trees and the grass grows.  There are designs in the way bodies are put together. There are patterns and rules the numbers relate to one another. The way few atoms and molecules go together is incredible, but it takes billions to form the smallest of objects. Some call this the intelligence designer, but fail to identify him. One reason they can not find him, is they haven’t really look for him. How can I say that? Because they have not really looked for him. God wants to show himself to those really looking for him. God is serious enough about this to have sent someone to help you find him. This someone has many names, but he is a real person.  He is called a Comforter.  He is also called the Holy Spirit. Some call him the Holy Ghost.  He is very powerful. He can be very quiet. He is often very soft.  In many ways we can not see him, but if we look close enough we can see where he is working.

How to we find out if God is real? We ask him to show himself to us. It is that simple. If we will seriously ask God to show himself to us, God will show up. If we ask God to send us someone in the flesh, God will send someone. If you are not serious about asking God will be very slow to listen. You keep asking and asking God will show up.

Luke 11:5-13 (KJV) And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Ask God to show you he is real. God will show you he is real. Don’t be surprise that God shows you the awfulness of sin in your life. He did in mine.  He’s going to show you that you need help. His son Jesus Christ can give you the help you need.  When you accept God’s son, he will help you with other things in your life.  You must ask for his son to get his son Jesus Christ.

I know that God real. I know that he sent Jesus Christ for me. I have a personal relationship with God. I hear from God every day. God talks to me through his Holy Spirit every day. I see God through other people, other things and in my life every day. You can, too. But you have to seek him and you have to want he there, for God to show you he is real.  If you do seek God, God will change you life in way you can not begin to comprehend. God wants the best for us. You should not dread this change. It will be good for you. Won’t seek God out today?
